information regarding giving testimony or attending. Ms. Kassel said that those wishing to speak should contact her
"as soon as possible" - fax form below to reserve a place on the
schedule.
10 - 15 speakers have
already signed up. Speakers will get 10 minutes each and should bring 10 copies
of their statement for panel members to read (10 minutes = approx. 3 pages
double spaced; please include contact info). Certain speakers (state health, law
officials, etc.) will get more time. The hearing will probably end at 4 or

of this hearing is on MESHPA and not on the bills presently before the NY

Ms. Kassel said she could not see any reason why
statements by experts unable to attend the hearing could not be included in
those of others. If you are (or know of) a medical or legal expert who might
like to have a statement read, please contact me ASAP. A double spaced two page
statement would probably be best. Hopefully we can get your statement read, or
entered into the record.
